Meet The Team

Joey aka " Junkyard Joe" grew up at the race track, his love off and on the track for racing doesn't go unnoticed. Joey raced at Unity Raceway, Speedway 95, Wiscasset and Oxford . Joey took a dream and made it a reality with bring Unity Raceway back to life! Countless hours and sleepless nights have gone into making Unity Raceway, The Rebuild such a success. Joey took this dormant track and really made it into something special, he has brought back many memories and has given the opportunity to make many more memories for our race community.  Many have doubted his abilities to make a successful dirt track in Maine and he keeps proving those doubters wrong. 2023 Race Season Joey was able to get the SCoNE Sprint Cars of New England to come to Unity Raceway - and that really set Unity Raceway apart from the others and really opened the doors to a promising future for dirt track racing in Maine. 

Holly , also known as " Mrs. Junkyard"  is Joey Doyon's wife. Unity Raceway was Joey and Holly's first official date. Holly is most proud of her husband for chasing his dreams and continues to support him in all ways possible. Holly is also famous for - Mrs. Junkyards Pit Stop " Come for the food, stay for the racing" Holly has a love for food and it has peeked interest of many fans ( and other race tracks). Race Day you can find Holly making her amazing food in the concession stands! Holly also has a love for children, as she has four boys herself she is always coming up with fun and exciting ideas for the Jr. Fan Club.  Mrs.Junkyard always has a smile on her face and has a heart of gold. 

Brianna grew up at Unity Raceway back when it was asphalt, she could be found sleeping in the covered grandstand most nights as a young girl,  but was sure to be woken up once the Pro Stocks took the track. As Brianna got older she could be found working with her Dad on his Race Truck learning the ins and outs of Racing. Brianna is the Sister-In Law of Holly Doyon. Brianna accepting this position with not much knowledge of what a Race Director did but had to knowledge of Leadership, Integrity and Racing. Brianna has put in countless hours of learning the Race Director Role by networking with other Race Directors  taking courses and striving to give Unity Raceway her best.
